Temperance Stanley 
Temperance was born on February 23rd, 1786 in Virginia.1 Temperance's father was Thomas Stanley and her mother was Unity Crew. Her paternal grandparents were John Stanley and Martha Hutchins; her maternal grandparents were James Crew and Judith Harris. She had six brothers and three sisters, named Moses, John, James, Joseph, Benjamin Thomas, Thomas Crew, Judith, Abigail and Unity. She was the third oldest of the ten children. She died at the age of 3 on April 27th, 1789 in Virginia.-
