Samuel Stanley 
Samuel was born on April 1st, 1796.1 Samuel's father was Waddy Stanley and his mother was Rebecca Ladd. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Stanley and Sarah Crew; his maternal grandparents were James Ladd and Sarah Binford. He had three brothers and six sisters, named Joel, Thomas, Waddy, Priscilla, Lucy, Anna, Nancy, Deborah and Rebecca. He was the oldest of the ten children.-
