Joel Stanley 
Joel was born on November 18th, 1805.1 Joel's father was Waddy Stanley and his mother was Rebecca Ladd. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Stanley and Sarah Crew; his maternal grandparents were James Ladd and Sarah Binford. He had three brothers and six sisters, named Samuel, Thomas, Waddy, Priscilla, Lucy, Anna, Nancy, Deborah and Rebecca. He was the fifth oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 70 in 1875.-
