Mathilda Stanley 
Mathilda was born in 1803 in Hanover Co., VA. Mathilda's father was Joshua Stanley and her mother was Rachel Harris. Her paternal grandparents were John Stanley and Millicent Stanley; her maternal grandfather was John Harris. She had five brothers and two sisters, named Jordon, Overton, Frederick, John, Elwood, Maria and Eliza. She was the fourth oldest of the eight children. She had three half-brothers and a half-sister, named Job, Martin, Jacob and Rachel.-
