Frederick Stanley 
Frederick was born in 1807 in Hanover Co., VA. Frederick's father was Joshua Stanley and his mother was Rachel Harris. His paternal grandparents were John Stanley and Millicent Stanley; his maternal grandfather was John Harris. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Jordon, Overton, John, Elwood, Maria, Eliza and Mathilda. He was the third youngest of the eight children. He had three half-brothers and a half-sister, named Job, Martin, Jacob and Rachel.-
