Nellie Shields 
Nellie was born before 1884. Nellie's father was William Henry Shields and her mother was Nancy Hammer Childress. Her maternal grandparents were James Clifton Childress and Sophronia Eliza Tapscott. She had two brothers and a sister, named Willie Peyton, James Clifton and Susan Sophronia. She was the oldest of the four children.-
