Green Pryor 
Green was born in 1727 in Gloucester Co., VA. Green's father was John Henry Pryor and his mother was Margaret Gaines. His paternal grandparents were Robert Pryor and Elizabeth Virginia Green; his maternal grandparents were George Gaines and Ellinor ?. He had three brothers and eight sisters, named Robert, Abner, John Henry, Lucy, Elizabeth, Rhoda, Mildred Kathleen, Leah, Rachel, Henrietta and Dorothy. He was the oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 44 in 1771.-
