Dorothy Pryor 
Dorothy was born on March 23rd, 1755 in Edgecombe Co., NC. Dorothy's father was John Henry Pryor and her mother was Margaret Gaines. Her paternal grandparents were Robert Pryor and Elizabeth Virginia Green; her maternal grandparents were George Gaines and Ellinor ?. She had four brothers and seven sisters, named Green, Robert, Abner, John Henry, Lucy, Elizabeth, Rhoda, Mildred Kathleen, Leah, Rachel and Henrietta. She was the second youngest of the twelve children. She died at the age of 68 on March 17th, 1824 in Hopkinsville, KY.-
