William Armisead Pendleton 
William Armisead was born in 1825. William Armisead's father was John Lewis Pendleton and his mother was Eliza Bankhead Magruder. His paternal grandparents were John Pendleton and Anne Lewis; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Magruder and Elizabeth Bankhead. He had seven brothers and a sister, named Allen Bowie, Julien, Thomas Magruder, Eugene Beauharnais, George, Henry, John Lewis and Eliza. He died at the age of 45 in 1870.-
