John Pendleton 
John was born in 1719 in Caroline Co., VA.1 John's father was Henry Pendleton and his mother was Mary Taylor. His maternal grandfather was James Taylor. He had four brothers named James, Philip, Nathaniel and Edmund. He died at the age of 80 in 1799 in Hanover Co., VA.2 General Notes
John Pendleton (1719-99), in 1775, was appointed by a convention of delegates at Richmond to sign part of the large issue of Treasury notes. He was born and died in Caroline County, Va.
