George Pendleton 
George's father was John Lewis Pendleton and his mother was Eliza Bankhead Magruder. His paternal grandparents were John Pendleton and Anne Lewis; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Magruder and Elizabeth Bankhead. He had seven brothers and a sister, named Allen Bowie, William Armisead, Julien, Thomas Magruder, Eugene Beauharnais, Henry, John Lewis and Eliza.-
