Mary Elizabeth Payne 
Mary Elizabeth was born on April 24th, 1834. Mary Elizabeth's father was William Payne and her mother was Phoebe Ann Flannagan. Her paternal grandparents were James Payne and Matilda Frances Dix; her maternal grandparents were William Flannagan and Sallie Curd Johnson. She had six brothers and seven sisters, named Thomas Benjamin, William Collins, James Dix, Eugene Spotswood, James Atalbert, Alphonzo Dix, Mary Frances, Sarah Ann, Martha Curd, Arenah Catherine, Amelia Louise, Ida Marie and Susan Frances. She was the fourth oldest of the fourteen children. She died at the age of 79 on March 30th, 1914.-
