Eugene Spotswood Payne

Eugene Spotswood was born on October 31st, 1845. Eugene Spotswood's father was William Payne and his mother was Phoebe Ann Flannagan. His paternal grandparents were James Payne and Matilda Frances Dix; his maternal grandparents were William Flannagan and Sallie Curd Johnson. He had five brothers and eight sisters, named Thomas Benjamin, William Collins, James Dix, James Atalbert, Alphonzo Dix, Mary Frances, Sarah Ann, Martha Curd, Mary Elizabeth, Arenah Catherine, Amelia Louise, Ida Marie and Susan Frances. He was the sixth youngest of the fourteen children. He died at the age of 67 on June 11th, 1913.
