Martha Curd Payne

Martha Curd was born on April 12th, 1832. Martha Curd's father was William Payne and her mother was Phoebe Ann Flannagan. Her paternal grandparents were James Payne and Matilda Frances Dix; her maternal grandparents were William Flannagan and Sallie Curd Johnson. She had six brothers and seven sisters, named Thomas Benjamin, William Collins, James Dix, Eugene Spotswood, James Atalbert, Alphonzo Dix, Mary Frances, Sarah Ann, Mary Elizabeth, Arenah Catherine, Amelia Louise, Ida Marie and Susan Frances. She was the third oldest of the fourteen children. She died at the age of 57 on June 11th, 1889.
