Josias Payne 
Josias was born on April 25th, 1761. Josias' father was Josias Payne and his mother was Elizabeth Fleming. His paternal grandparents were Josias Payne and Anna Fleming; his maternal grandparents were Tarleton Fleming and Hannah Bates. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Tarleton, William, Fleming, Charles Fleming, Sally and Elizabeth Chichester. He was the third oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 60 in 1821 in Albemarle, VA.-
