Richard Overton 
Richard was born in 1763. Richard's father was John Overton and his mother was Anne Booker Clough. His paternal grandparents were James Overton and Elizabeth Truehart; his maternal grandparents were Richard Clough and Anne Booker. He had seven brothers and three sisters, named Clough, James, George, William, Dabney Carr, John, Thomas, Elizabeth, Polly and Sally. He was the oldest of the eleven children. He died about 1816 in Hardin Co., KY.-
