James Overton 
James was born on August 14th, 1688 in St. Martin's Parish, Hanover Co., VA. James' father was William Overton and his mother was Elizabeth Mary Waters. His paternal grandparents were Robert Overton and Ann Gardiner; his maternal grandparents were Samuel Waters and Anne ?. He had two brothers and four sisters, named William, Samuel, Elizabeth Mary, Anne, Temperance and Barbara. He died at the age of 60 on June 18th, 1749 in Hanover Co., VA.-
