Joseph Mosby 
Joseph was born in 1757 in Henrico Co., VA. Joseph's father was John Mosby and his mother was Lucy Allen. His paternal grandparents were John Mosby and Martha Womack; his maternal grandparents were James Allen and Lucy Hobson. He had four brothers and six sisters, named Benjamin, William, Hezekiah, Samuel, Susanna, Elizabeth, Mary, Lucy, Ann and Martha. He was the fifth oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 75 in 1832 in Hanover Co., Virginia.-
