John Mosby 
John was born in 1687 in Henrico Co., VA. John's father was Edward Moseley and his mother was Sarah Woodson. His paternal grandparents were Richard Mosby and Hannah ?; his maternal grandparents were Robert Woodson and Elizabeth Ferris. He had six brothers and a sister, named Robert, Joseph, Jacob, Benjamin, Hezekiah, Richard and Agnes. He was the third oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 31 on November 20th, 1718 in Henrico Co., VA.-
