Jacob Mosby 
Jacob was born in 1697 in Henrico Co., VA. Jacob's father was Edward Moseley and his mother was Sarah Woodson. His paternal grandparents were Richard Mosby and Hannah ?; his maternal grandparents were Robert Woodson and Elizabeth Ferris. He had six brothers and a sister, named Robert, John, Joseph, Benjamin, Hezekiah, Richard and Agnes. He was the fourth youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 83 in 1780 in Cumberland Co., VA.-
