John Minor 
John was born on April 2nd, 1791. John's father was James Minor and his mother was Mary Carr. His paternal grandparents were John M. Minor and Sarah Carr; his maternal grandparents were John Carr and Barbara Overton. He had two brothers and five sisters, named Dabney, James, Sarah, Elizabeth, Mary, Nancy Ann and Barbara Overton. He was the youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 58 on April 4th, 1849 in "Gale Hill", Albemarle Co., VA.-
