Charles Landon Carter Minor 
Charles Landon Carter was born on December 8th, 1835 in Edgewood, VA. Charles Landon Carter's father was Lucius Horatio Minor and his mother was Catherine "Kate" Berkley. His paternal grandparents were John Minor and Lucy Landon Carter; his maternal grandfather was Carter Berkeley. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Carter Nelson Berkley, John, Robert Berkley, Fannie B., Lucy Landon, Kate Meade and Mary Willis. He was the second oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 67 on July 13th, 1903 in Winchester, VA.-
