Martha Allen Leigh 
Martha Allen was born on February 8th, 1793 in Prince Edward Co., Virginia. Martha Allen's father was Zachariah Greenhill Leigh and her mother was Priscilla Allen Townes. Her paternal grandparents were John Leigh and Elizabeth Greenhill; her maternal grandparents were John Townes and Martha Allen. She had four brothers and three sisters, named (son), John Townes, William, Richard Henry, Elizabeth, Elizabeth Greenhill and Catherine. She was the fourth oldest of the eight children. She died at the age of 72 on April 27th, 1865.-
