America Lawson 
America was born on January 22nd, 1778 in Prince Edward Co., Virginia. America's father was Robert Lawson and her mother was Sarah Meriwether Pierce. Her paternal grandparents were Benjamin Lawson and Elizabeth Claiborne; her maternal grandparents were John Pierce and Sarah ?. She had two brothers and two sisters, named John Pierce, Columbus, Sarah Merriwether and Arria. She was the third oldest of the five children. She died at the age of 52 on October 1st, 1830 in "Paradise Plantation", Tammanyu Parish, Louisiana.-
