India Catherine Hicks 
India Catherine was born on December 21st, 1871. India Catherine's father was William Granville Hicks and her mother was Mary C. Thurston. Her paternal grandparents were Abner Hicks and Jane Matthews; her maternal grandparents were Reuben Thurston and Mildred B. Mahanes. She had two brothers and four sisters, named Archer, Thomas, Laura, Nannie, Josie L. and Nancy M.. She was the youngest of the seven children. She died at the age of 51 on January 20th, 1923.-
