William Brockman 
William was born about 1713. William's father was Samuel Brockman and his mother was Mary Madison. His paternal grandparents were Henry Brockman and Rebecca Salmon; his maternal grandparents were John Madison and Isabella Minor Todd. He had two brothers and five sisters, named Samuel, John, Elizabeth, Mary M., Susanna, Sarah and Rachael. He was the second oldest of the eight children. He died in 1809.-
