Alexander Spotswood Henry 
Alexander Spotswood was born on June 2nd, 1788 in "Studley", Hanover Co., Virginia. Alexander Spotswood's father was Patrick Henry and his mother was Dorothea Dandridge. His paternal grandparents were John Henry and Sarah Winston; his maternal grandparents were Nathaniel West Dandridge and Dorothea Spotswood. He had six brothers and four sisters, named Patrick, Nathaniel West, George Lafayette, Richard, Edward Winston, John, Dorothea Spotswood, Sarah Butler, Martha Catherine and Jane Robertson. He was the fifth youngest of the eleven children. He had three half-brothers and three half-sisters, named John, William, Edward, Martha, Anne and Elizabeth. He died at the age of 65 on January 6th, 1854 in "Aspenwall", Charlotte Co., Virginia.-
