William Fontaine 
William was born on January 1st, 1828. William's father was Edward Fontaine and his mother was Maria Louisa Pollard. His paternal grandparents were William Fontaine and Anne Morris; his maternal grandparents were ? Pollard and E. P. ?. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Edmund, John B., Richard Morris, Sarah Louisa and Rose Maury. He was the oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 14 on August 5th, 1842. He was buried in "Beaver Dam", Rt. 738, Hanover Co., Virginia.1 -
