Joel Daniel 
Joel was born in 1854. Joel's father was J. W. Daniel and his mother was Mary Ann Butler. His maternal grandparents were Christopher Butler and Mehala Cole. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Thomas C., J. W., Marion L., Patrick B., Nancy E., Mahala R., Mary Ann, Agnus and Susanah. He was the fourth youngest of the ten children.-
