William Cosby 
William's father was David Cosby and his mother was Mary Garland Ann Overton. His paternal grandparents were Charles Cosby and Jane Meriwether; his maternal grandparents were James Overton and Elizabeth Truehart. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Charles, David, Overton, John, Mary, Elizabeth, Jane, Barbara Overton and Ann. He died in 1846 in Williamson Co., TN.-
