Leonard Claiborne

Leonard was born about 1649.  Leonard's father was William Claiborne and his mother was Elizabeth Butler.  His paternal grandparents were Thomas Clayborn and Sara Smyth; his maternal grandparents were John Butler and Jane Elliott. He had three brothers and two sisters, named William, John, Thomas, Jane and Elizabeth.  He died on June 19th, 1694 in Action against the French at Carlisle Bay, Jamaica.
