CLAIBORNE, WILLIAM, (1587-1676) Came from England with Governor Wyatt in 1621.Secretary of State of VA. 1625, member of the council 1625-60). Deputy Governor 1653. Had one land grant of 24,000 acres in King William Co.VA. Married Elizabeth Butler.
