John Chappell 
John was born in 1755 in Amelia Co., VA. John's father was James Chappell and his mother was Susan Hudson. His paternal grandparents were Robert Chappell and Sarah Cox. He had five brothers and four sisters, named William, James, Miles, Robert, Abner, Sarah, Ann, Martha and Elizabeth. He had two half-sisters named Dorothy and Catherine. He died at the age of 70 on September 10th, 1825 in Amelia Co., VA.General Notes
