Abner Chappell 
Abner was born on April 12th, 1763 in Amelia Co., VA. Abner's father was James Chappell and his mother was Susan Hudson. His paternal grandparents were Robert Chappell and Sarah Cox. He had five brothers and four sisters, named William, James, John, Miles, Robert, Sarah, Ann, Martha and Elizabeth. He had two half-sisters named Dorothy and Catherine. He died at the age of 76 in 1839 in Howard Co., Missouri.-
