James Chappell 
James was born in 1801. James' father was John Chappell and his mother was Elizabeth Townes Craddock. His paternal grandparents were James Chappell and Susan Hudson; his maternal grandfather was Charles Craddock. He had four brothers and a sister, named William H., Richard Granville, Charles Edward, John Abner and Elizabeth C.. He had a half-sister named Martha. He died at the age of 79 in 1880.-
