William Thomas Carter 
William Thomas was born on July 20th, 1850. William Thomas' father was Lewis Marion Carter and his mother was Mary Frances Baker. His paternal grandparents were Henry Fauntleroy Carter and Mary Thompson; his maternal grandparents were Richard Baker and Delia Ann Southall Statton. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Richard W., Samuel Justin, George Edward, Henry Lewis, Ophelia Elizabeth, Annetta M., Josephine C., Sarah E. and Mary Ann. He died at the age of 64 on July 27th, 1914. He was buried in Hollywood Cemetery, Richmond, VA.-
