Landon Carter 
Landon was born in 1738. Landon's father was Landon Carter and his mother was Elizabeth Wormeley. His paternal grandparents were Robert Carter and Elizabeth Landon; his maternal grandparents were John Wormeley and Elizabeth ?. He had two brothers and a sister, named Robert Wormeley, John and Elizabeth Wormeley. He was the second oldest of the four children. He had a half-brother and five half-sisters, named Beale, Maria Byrd, Judith, Lucy, Fanny and Susannah. He died at the age of 63 in 1801.-
