William Byrd 
William was born on August 2nd, 1749 in Virginia. William's father was William Byrd and his mother was Elizabeth Hill Carter. His paternal grandparents were William Byrd and Maria Taylor; his maternal grandparents were John Carter and Elizabeth Hill. He had three brothers and a sister, named Thomas Taylor, Francis Otway, John Carter and Elizabeth Hill. He died at the age of 21 in July 1771 in Caen, France; thrown from a carriage.-
