Zachariah Taylor was born on August 27th, 1820 in Shelby Co., AL. Zachariah Taylor's father was Zachariah Butler and his mother was Nancy Bullard. His paternal grandparents were James McGehee Butler and Sarah Christopher; his maternal grandparents were Thomas J. B. Bullard and Anna Bell. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Thomas, Sanders Walker, James Madison, Sarah C., Elizabeth, Mary, Nancy Caroline and Jane M.. He died at the age of 86 on February 15th, 1907 in Santo, Palo Pinta Co., TX. He was buried in Bosley Cemetery, Santo, Palo Pinta Co., TX.-
