Elizabeth was born in 1811 in Elbert Co., GA. Elizabeth's father was Zachariah Butler and her mother was Nancy Bullard. Her paternal grandparents were James McGehee Butler and Sarah Christopher; her maternal grandparents were Thomas J. B. Bullard and Anna Bell. She had four brothers and four sisters, named Thomas, Sanders Walker, James Madison, Zachariah Taylor, Sarah C., Mary, Nancy Caroline and Jane M.. She died at the age of 60 in September 1871 in Shelby Co., AL.-
