Nancy Caroline was born on October 22nd, 1822 in Shelby Co., AL. Nancy Caroline's father was Zachariah Butler and her mother was Nancy Bullard. Her paternal grandparents were James McGehee Butler and Sarah Christopher; her maternal grandparents were Thomas J. B. Bullard and Anna Bell. She had four brothers and four sisters, named Thomas, Sanders Walker, James Madison, Zachariah Taylor, Sarah C., Elizabeth, Mary and Jane M.. She died at the age of 82 on January 13th, 1905 in Thornton, Arkansas.-
