Russell B. was born in October 1811 in AL. Russell B.'s father was Christopher Butler and his mother was Mehala Cole. His paternal grandparents were James McGehee Butler and Sarah Christopher. He had seven brothers and two sisters, named Milton P., James M., Joel, Patrick, Lafayette C., Jasper, Thomas, Mary Ann and Sarah. He died at the age of 89 on June 2nd, 1901 in Cullman Co., AL.-
