Joel Butler 
Joel was born on April 7th, 1812. Joel's father was Christopher Butler and his mother was Mehala Cole. His paternal grandparents were James McGehee Butler and Sarah Christopher. He had seven brothers and two sisters, named Milton P., James M., Russell B., Patrick, Lafayette C., Jasper, Thomas, Mary Ann and Sarah. He died at the age of 69 on August 3rd, 1881 in Coosa Co., AL.-
