William Savery Bates 
William Savery was born on April 30th, 1832.1 William Savery's father was Micajah Bates and his mother was Mary Hargrave. His paternal grandparents were Benjamin Bates and Tace Crew; his maternal grandparents were Samuel Hargrave and Elizabeth ?. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Charles Frederick, Elisha Henry, Benjamin, Samuel Edward, Tace Elizabeth, Martha, Catherine, Louisa Jane and Mary. He was the fifth youngest of the ten children. He had six half-brothers and a half-sister, named Micajah, Hugh Balderston, Frank Tyree, Jacob, Walter Gurney, John and Margaret Wilson. He died at the age of 3 on June 15th, 1835 in Age 2 years, 7 months, & 15 days.1 -
