Louisa Jane Bates 
Louisa Jane was born on May 17th, 1836.1 Louisa Jane's father was Micajah Bates and her mother was Mary Hargrave. Her paternal grandparents were Benjamin Bates and Tace Crew; her maternal grandparents were Samuel Hargrave and Elizabeth ?. She had five brothers and four sisters, named Charles Frederick, Elisha Henry, William Savery, Benjamin, Samuel Edward, Tace Elizabeth, Martha, Catherine and Mary. She was the fourth youngest of the ten children. She had six half-brothers and a half-sister, named Micajah, Hugh Balderston, Frank Tyree, Jacob, Walter Gurney, John and Margaret Wilson. She died at the age of 2 on July 2nd, 1838 in Aged 2 years, 1 month & 15 days.-
