Gamaliel Askew

Gamaliel was born in 1829 in Hanover Co., VA.  Gamaliel's father was Robert Askew and his mother was Nancy Stanley. He had six brothers named John, Joseph, Alfred, Alexander, Silas and Sylvanus.  He was the third youngest of the seven children.
