Martha Jane Amos 
Martha Jane was born on April 1st, 1874. Martha Jane's father was William Franklin Amos and her mother was Frances Jane Faudree. Her paternal grandparents were Pleasants Amos and Elizabeth Kerr Johnson; her maternal grandparents were James Knight Faudree and Frances Nuckols. She had five brothers and four sisters, named James Pleasants, William Quinton, Benjamin Franklin, John Wesley, Americus, Willie Ann, Lucy Catherine, Mary Elizabeth and Eliza Frances. She was the second youngest of the ten children.-
