Benjamin Franklin Amos 
Benjamin Franklin was born on September 15th, 1866 in Vontay, Hanover Co., VA. Benjamin Franklin's father was William Franklin Amos and his mother was Frances Jane Faudree. His paternal grandparents were Pleasants Amos and Elizabeth Kerr Johnson; his maternal grandparents were James Knight Faudree and Frances Nuckols. He had four brothers and five sisters, named James Pleasants, William Quinton, John Wesley, Americus, Willie Ann, Lucy Catherine, Mary Elizabeth, Eliza Frances and Martha Jane. He was the fourth youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 78 on August 18th, 1945.-
