King Viserys Targaryen II

Viserys was born in 0120. Viserys' father is <Unknown> and his mother was Rhaenyra Targaryen. His maternal grandparents were King Viserys Targaryen I and (Unknown) Arryn. He had a brother named "Dragonbane". He died at the age of 52 in 0172.

General Notes
- Viserys II was the brother of Aegon III and son of Rhaenyra Targaryen. He ascended the throne after the deaths of Aegon's sons (his nephews).
  
  Viserys is a controversial figure in history and is not remembered fondly in Westeros. Some accuse him of poisoning his nephew, Baelor I, to gain the throne, and doing nothing once he had gained it. In truth, Viserys, as Hand to the former Kings, was instrumental in keeping the realm intact while Daeron warred and Baelor prayed. Viserys reigned for a year, but he truly ruled and preserved the land for much longer.
