William R Shannon

William R was born about 1902 in New York.¹ William R's father was Barney and his mother was Mary "Minnie" Smyth. His paternal grandfather was Henry Shannon and his paternal grandmother is Mary McGolrick; his maternal grandparents were James I Smyth and Catherine Farnand. He had eight brothers and three sisters, named Henry Francis, James Edward, Joseph Michael, John Paul, Bernard Emmett, Arthur Thomas, Uncle "OOUIE", Edwin Vincent, Frances, Mary and "Little Minnie" or part of "Minnie and Art ".. He was the tenth oldest of the twelve children.
